At Valkyrie Labs we are developing a unique imaging tool and software suite that will allow users of any experience level to generate 3D models of indoor environments. This will be an easy utility to use yet extremely modular and powerful in terms of it’s end user functionality. We believe that products sell, but tools make a lasting impact. Our mission is to develop a solution that could be used in a vast range of applications from research and education to law enforcement and search & rescue.

Our goal is to eliminate the resource overhead with mapping indoor spaces. Indoor mapping is a tool that if properly and fully implemented could make a significant impact on several industries. Our belief at Valkyrie is that tools are the most important thing for the development of technology, the use cases will naturally develop when the tools are available.

Valkyrie Free Motion Stand will allow you to capture all the data you need from your space with minimal blind space. The magnetized bearing and roller interlock rotates the sensor units in a full spherical range of motion without interfering with sensor data.

Tetherless Design allows complete freedom of the environments you can map without worrying about plugging into a power outlet.

Our software suite creates models designed to give you the best representation of your space. Our models can be exported in several standard graphics file formats, including .stl and .IGES

Rahul Mehta

Chief Executive Officer

Rahul’s experience in the field of applied robotics and proven ability to drive projects from concept to working product paved way for the inception of Valkyrie Labs. Rahul is current pursuing a B.ASc in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

Chris Carnduff

Chief Operating Officer

As a B.ASc candidate in Systems Design Engineering, Chris believes that harmonic coordination leads to strong execution. Applying an array organizational and leadership experience combined with a diverse software-based technical background, Chris coordinates the unity and growth of Valkyrie Labs.

Seamus Johnston

Chief Technology Officer

Seamus’ passion for robotic systems and embedded software have aided in contributing meaningfully in his position at Valkyrie Labs. Seamus is currently enrolled at the University of Waterloo in the Mechatronics Engineering Program.
