DayPostHR — Delete Your Account
Last updated: October 1, 2026
DayPostHR is a workforce management app for licensed childcare centres, made by Valkyrie Labs Inc. This page explains how to ask us to delete your DayPostHR account and the data associated with it, what we delete, and what the law requires us to keep.
How to request deletion
- Email garrison@valkyrielabs.ca from the email address you use to sign in to DayPostHR, with the subject “DayPostHR account deletion request”. The button below opens a pre-filled email.
- Tell us the name of the childcare centre you work for, so we can find your account.
- We confirm the request came from the account’s owner, then reply within 30 days to confirm what was deleted.
Your DayPostHR account is set up by your employer. We let your employer’s administrator know when we close your account.
What we delete
- Your sign-in account, including your password and multi-factor authentication enrollment — you will no longer be able to sign in.
- Your profile photo and the push-notification tokens for your devices.
- Personal and contact details that are not part of a record the law requires your employer to keep.
What we keep, and for how long
Ontario law requires licensed childcare centres to keep certain staff and payroll records after an employee leaves. We keep the following for the required period, then delete them:
- Employment, scheduling, hours-worked, absence, leave, wage, and certification records (including certificate documents and police check status) — 3 years (Child Care and Early Years Act, O. Reg. 137/15, s. 82; Employment Standards Act, 2000, s. 15(5)).
- Vacation records — 5 years (Employment Standards Act, 2000, s. 15.1(5)).
- The audit history of actions taken in the app (for example, schedule changes and approvals), kept with the records it relates to.
Kept records are visible only to your former employer’s authorized staff, are not used for any other purpose, and are deleted once their retention period ends.
